About Christo

Product mind.
Human focus.

I build systems that help people do complex work with less friction. I care about outcomes above process, and the craft of building things that last.

Been around the world, currently based in the Netherlands.

I lead a product team at sennder, building the tools and workflows behind a digital road-freight business spanning Europe.

Engineering & design education, design background, systems mindset. I like structure, clarity and making complicated things feel simple.

  • Outcomes over output

    Focus on the right problems.

  • Systems over silos

Design for flow, antifragility and long-term scale.

  • People in the loop

Build with empathy. Make it usable. Earn trust.

  • Keep learning

Read widely, think critically, improve constantly.

  3. Engineering and design

  4. Always a builder

I enjoy turning ambiguity into something useful people want to use.

Working with AI

A tool for thinking, not a shortcut past it.

I use AI daily and treat it as leverage and a force-multiplier, rather than magic. It is good at helping with brainstorming, pattern-matching across messy inputs and enabling learning. It is way better than me at SQL queries too, for a random example. However: AI is bad at knowing which problem is worth solving. The decision is human.

The words you read on this site are mine. I consider LLMs to be good editors, spotting incorrect punctuation and similar better than I do - but the words you read are always my own.

So the judgement stays mine, on here and in my professional career. I use genAI to move faster through the mechanical parts of product work, then spend the time it saves on the parts that actually need a person: deciding what matters, and being accountable for the decisions.

Clarity

Clear thinking creates clear outcomes.

Leverage

Good systems multiply good teams.

Curiosity

Stay curious. Ask better questions.

Integrity

Do the right thing. Even when it's hard.
